Karen Chandler (owns a beauty salon)

Graduated with a degree in marketing.
Favorite pass time: Boating with friends, watching NASCAR, when not at the games he enjoys playing Baseball,Basketball and Football. playing music with other artists & friends such as Jimmy Buffett, keith urban,Reba, or John Mellencamp to name a few.

What's in the fridge? Kenny prides himself on eating healthy and staying fit, MOST particularly during "show season". He does this by keeping his fridge stocked with sugar free beverages, fresh fruits and vegetables. For Breakfast, he eats egg whites,wheat toast with a slice of tomato, then afterwards, he heads to the gym to work out. His diet also consists of a protein drink he has following his workout session. He also enjoy's chicken,broccoli, turkey sandwiches, carrot sticks, and grilled salmon. A diet he's been sticking to for the past 3 years. This diet certainly includes the frequent margarita's, Beer, or what~ever is available to share witih his fans during a concert / tailgate party! Afterwards, when he's done touring and heads back to the islands, its back to good ole key lime pies,cheeseburgers, jerk chicken and mango sauce. His favored "off~diet" foods!

It all started for Kenny when he stepped into the classic recording studio in Bristol,Va. Backed by several musicians he knew from college (who are now the core of Alison Krauss' band), he recorded an album worth of songs he'd written. When he pressed up a thousand copies, he sold them all and used the money to buy himself a martin guitar. He realised then, he was on to something BIG! A month after graduating college with his degree in advertising, he headed down I-40 West to Nashville in the begining of 91. His first contract with a record label was with Capricorn records in 94. His first single "Tin Man" which he wrote got considerable amount of interest. He was discoverd and taken in by RCA's Joe Galante who then got him a record contract with the affiliate label BNA records. From then on, his music has been flying off the charts, he is performing for sold out shows, and is a regular "Nominee-take home awards-entertainer that shows no signs of slowing down!
